Took the afternoon off work in the end had some flexi hours to take, so decided that it would be for the best if I could escape for a little while. I was right, i’ve just spent the afternoon relaxing and I feel much better for it now. A lovely quiet weekend ahead and I think i’ll have a much better outlook on next week.

Rest and sleep is hugely underrated, as is giving yourself time when you need it. Whilst I’ve been successful in fighting bad thoughts for a while, sometimes it’s better just to accept your limits and go for damage limitation. I will get myself back again, every thought I identify can be removed and control slowly regained.
